The purpose of holding this course is to help students to focus on photography projects and achieve them. In this workshop, we will talk about the photo collection that is formed and developed around an idea, topic or concern. This photo collection can be documentary, archival or fine art.

Target Audience

Students and photographers who want to work on their personal project but don't know how and where to start, or finish and finally present their unfinished projects.

Where do ideas come from and how do they motivate us to start working?

How to start a photo project and how to finish it?

Focusing on the three-stage process of pre-production: search and research - production (photography and editing) - post-production (various presentation methods)

 What is a long-term project and how not to go astray during long-term projects and more importantly not to stop?

What skills do we need except how to use the camera?

How important is writing and text in today's world of photography?

Document writing, CV, proposal, portfolio, biography, artist statement

How to find the main objectives of our projects? (galleries, publications, festivals, virtual platforms, museums)

    Maryam Firouzi is a graduate of Bachelor and Master degree in cinema at Tehran University of Arts. She has been working professionally in the field of photography for many years and has had many exhibitions inside and outside of Iran.
