Fiber Art

Fiber Art is the creation of works of art using a combination of materials made from natural or synthetic fibers. These fibers include cotton, linen, yarn, felt, hemp, twine, ribbon, wool, silk, acrylic, rayon and many others. Various methods of fabric making, embroidery, needlework, and fabric and texture prints are among the techniques used in this field. This textile artwork focuses on the materials and the artist's handiwork as part of the importance of the works and prioritizes aesthetic value over utility.
